A joint research group led by Dr Nobusada, Dr Kasukawa (RIKEN IMS, respectively), and Dr Hideya Kawaji (TMiMS) has released the latest update to the FANTOM web resource. This update includes expanded functional information on genomic non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) and a new database on cis-elements.
The results of this research are expected to be used in basic research, including gene expression control mechanisms, and in life science research targeting diseases and drugs.
